Hitachi EC2510E 5.5hp Gas Air Compressor "wheelbarrow compressor" Questions

wheelbarrow air compressor will run to 145 psi then just stall out, if i trip the unloadrer valve before it dies then it just goes full speed and sounds like its goin to blow up, whats wrong with her?
