no ink came out of its printhead? maybe the ink cartridge is defective. if it says that your CL-41 has run out, press reset/paperfeed button for 5-10 seconds to reset the cartridge. hope to be of help

ink levels cannot be reset on refills for this type of cartridge. As long as your printer still prints you should be good. If it doesn't print you either need to go get another refill or a Canon brand
