My hide inactive icons button is missing Hi, You have to enable Hide inactive icons in taskbar and start menu properties>Notification area tab. Thanks Siju

Why is this happening and how can I stop it. Right click on your taskbar then choose properties. On the bottom of the box opened, there is a check box with label "Hide Inactive Icons". Uncheck the box
