new wheel bearings doesnt shimmy when i brake though. any help would help greatly thanks If it shimmies with the brakes applied, it's a rotor problem....but like you say, it shimmies just at a certain

2006 3 with 58K miles you need to have the rotors re-surfaced or replaced. the vibration/shimmy is caused by warped rotors Solution 1 is correct. new or turned - resurfaced rotors will fix the problem

front wheel shimmy while braking. Had new set of rubbers installed & balanced. Front wheels still shimmy. If it is while applying the brakes its a good chance its your brake rotors.
