i have a 1998 400 ls and my thrid brake light went out have replacement bub but unable to change the bub You should be able to access 3rd brake light through trunk.

brake the reverse light will illuminate and the car jerks once before it stops. But at night when the lights are on the transmission does not change out. But if you turn off the lights it drives fine.
