bad CV joint. While I have seen people drive with a bad CV joint for over 4k miles, it is NOT recommended! i would suspect the wire wear is uneven from your description the sound increases with speed.

bad that they are causing this problem.i have seen where badly worn out brakes have made a grinding noise on turns.the tire squealing i don`t think is related to the grinding noise.check out the other
