2005 Volvo V50 "10 limp mode" Questions

limp mode. When you stop and turn the engine off and try to restart it the immobiliser kicks in and i cannot start the car. If you then wait for around 10 minutes it all comes back to life, no faults.

Limp mode is so that you don't wreak the engine.  What year car?  did it throw an engine light. if so have it read to find out what is the problem.  Other causes low antifreeze, low

sit for about 5 min. Then touch the pos and neg cables together,hold them to gether (off the battery) for 10 sec or so. This should pull u out of limp mode! It will also reset ur fuel trims. Good luck
