1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee "bad thermostat engine light" Questions

My 2004 jeep grand cherokees engine light came on and when hooked up to the code reader it says engine to cold! Does anyone know what this is? So what is the code? P0??? Could be a bad thermostat.

bad sending unit, or temp sensor, or as you have suggested, could be the thermostat. I suggest you remove the stat and take note of what temp it is set to open at. Replace with the factory recommended
