1998 Isuzu Hombre "shift hard late oil change" Questions

shift it from 3rd. there is a gounding sound from 2 metals (feels like the gears) rubbing when i force it in 2nd gear from 3rd. The pick up is kinda clutchy though but only 2nd gear is hard to put in,
