fan switch i got my radiator fan replaced it was still running hot took it back in they said the cooling fan switch needs to be replaced is the cooling switch supposed to be replaced with the radiator

fan switch 3) Changed the relay (swopped with another) and checked fuse. 4) Ran the fan directly from the battery and it works But the fine just does not kick in at all whne engine is hot. Please help

...for the fan to occassionaly run for up to 5 minutes after the engine has been turned off. If it stays running much longer than that, then you have a problem with either the fan timer, or fan switch

fan switch and the other is a temp sensor. the fan switch tells the computer to turn on the fans at a certian temp. i would suggest replacing the fan switch which is located on the thermostat housing.
