job. I pays 1.5 hours labor to replace the pump. I hope this is helpful. Water Pumps on Cavaliers are not Cheap. You are looking at around 450.00 to fix and I would get a New Thermostat Installed Also

it was fine. Check thermostat first. Maybe not the problem but new thermostat and housing gasket are very cheap and with this many miles it wouldn't hurt to install new one anyway. Just a little labor
