2003 Ford Ranger Regular Cab "fuel smell" Questions

fuel pump relay and ecu relay. on motor area smell like oil and exhaust smell like oil and gasoline.spend a lot of gas, i drive 20 miles and expend 1/4 of tank.thinking in replace the fuel pump. thank
