change the pads I can not get the piston to go back far enough to put the new ones in. How do you get the piston to push back in order to put the brake pads in? You will have to use a c-clamp or brake

take a pair of big channel locks or c clamp,,& push the piston back into the caliper,,if it doesn't move,, you mite have to change it,,when done snap the master cyl cap back on ,,,hoped it helped,

back into the caliber. You need a special tool for rear pads. The pistons have to be turned in, there is either slots or holes in the piston for the tool to fit in, then just turn the piston clockwise
