Question about Ford F-150
bad grinding noise and the floor shifter vibrates real bad. When in 4 wheel high or low the noise and vibration go away. What could the problem be? My guess would be something inside the transfer case

solution Could be a bad tranny mount. Look at all the mounts for broken rubber or rusted hangers. I have seen this in other fords as well. Also it would be a good idea to change your transfer case oil
