heater core, or bad water pump? there is no squealing like a bad water pump. check the oil to see if the is water in it it will look grayish and bubbley if there is water in oil you may have a cracked

in the line itself. The heater core could be stopped up and the cooling system needs to be back flushed. Also if is is a V6 on some engines you can put the wrong gaskets on the wrong side of the block
