2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD "bypassing low pressure ac switch" Questions

AC compressor wont come on and AC light flashes on the dash. Also the low pressure switch when bypassed does not engergize the AC clutch. Sounds like low on r134,when was the last you had the service?
