so not sure it that is the problem or if the voltage regulator is the problem. I had the alternator tested at auto zone and it tested fine so i am not sure what to do at this point. If anyone can help

trucks, fluctuating voltage is caused by a faulty alternator voltage regulator. Have the alternator tested, strong possiblityits defective!!Hopefully this helps!

start? Go to the parts store and have them hook up the battery and alternator to test the thing under load.  Shouldn't cost you anything for the test. Check the Mass flow Meter and the Map Sensor
