1993 Chevrolet C1500 "305 tbi starting" Questions

1995 extended cab V8 305 tbi. Starts but why won't it continue running? When it starts does the oil pressure gauge rise. TBI's use a signal from the oil pressure sender to keep the fuel pump running.
