itself could be dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. A child's toothbrush is a handy cleaning tool. If the window will wind up but not down then you know the problem is not the fuse or the motor.

leak of may be dirty. Use some throttle body cleaner to clean. Use a toothbrush to get carbon deposits off, The EGR valve itself might need to be replaced. Not a big job any DIY mechanic can handle it
