gas tank ,not hard depending on your experience ..But safety is a big concern . Don't use a incandescent light , or allow any one around smoking . Also have a fire extinguisher handy , and some help .

...it's a problem with the fuel system. Is fuel not getting where it needs to go? check your fuel pump is operating also check your fuel filter and check your fuses what about his gas pump reset

filter location cartrigde type is locted at the top of the crossmember just forward of the gas tank on driver side of the vehicle,,,,,,,,non cartradge type located on front of the fuel tank.. 1997 gmc
