abs brake speed sensor try it it does things that you would never expect it happened to my aunt one time but it was a ford ranger but they are both fords this was located on the ranger in the rear end

The abs system comes on while braking normally at every stop. You probably need to change the break pads or fluid level. If eveything's OK, check the ABS sensor.
