the seal from the old filter is not still stuck on the housing. If it is it will leak for sure. I always smear some oil on the new filter seal before putting it on. I also fill the new filter with oil

oil leak on the line connection to the rad. The line come from the base of the oil filter.Is this an extra cooling system for the oil when the van is used for towing? and can i completely eliminate it
