...your ignition switch has some resistance. most times when this happens the starter current draw is excessive ,caused by worn bushes making armature to field contact. Repair or replace starter

bad connection on terminal. If you replace starter make sure the mating surface is clean before you put new one on to ensure a good ground. Hope this helps. Good Luck. Starter is most likely locked up
