radio needs a live connection ie source that is live with ignition switched off. connect the battery and ilumination (red & yellow wires) together and wire them to a permnent live . the only down fall

memory power source. is the radio after market or OEM if its after market It should be a yellow wire but as far as OEM goes i cant tell you which wire is memory but if you contact the dealer and speak
