I have a 95 Chevy tahoe that when the runnings lights or brake pedal is pushed it stalls out. What has crawled up its tail pipe to do this?

95 Chevy tahoe that when the runnings lights or brake pedal is pushed it stalls out. What has crawled up its tail pipe to do this? Bad wiring, broken wire or bare wire shorting out on metal somewhere.
