Timing I have a 96 Chevy Silverado that the distributor was replaced on. I am trying to adjust the timing using an ElmScan 5 scantool. The software gives me a timing advance option but not cam ******.
timing chain if this is the problem? try checking for a shorted or open battery cable..maybe a bad connection somewhere..........check the main ground cable from the battery as well as the body ground
