You should have you altenator checked most local parts stores will do it for free more...

problem almost identical to this with my sons car.
We ended up replacing the ignition module - it was about $90 at the local
parts store. so far - knock wood - it's been working great.

for the input. That's what I'm hoping it is, just wish the test
leads would come in so I could check it for sure. Parts place said I can't
