2001 Oldsmobile Alero "wont speed" Questions

2001 olds alero with a v6 engine. How do I lower the idle speed?? it's idle speed is over 2000 rpm right now and wont go down when hot!!! loosen idler screw on throttle body till rpms go down

...wont even go 15mph. It currently has 165,000 mile, I checked the tranny fluid and it was only 5 quarts low, but hasn't seemed leak any since I have filled it. Just wondering what could be causing it ...
