2000 Oldsmobile Alero "fuel pump relay shut" Questions

fuel pump on a 2001 oldsmobile alero . I had the car towed and i replaced the fuel pump but it still wont start there is not a re-set on the pump. There is a relay on the fuse box I believe. it sounds
