say what OS you are using. For Windows 2000 or above, you probably don't need driver letter in "My Computer". For Win 98, you will need a driver - try http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/ For Apple/Linux, I can't help, but drivers may be available from the above link. more...
