Sprint BlackBerry 8703e Phone "deleted calls brought back" Questions

...calls or updating any call log......... amazingly when i reset the call log from 30 to 7 days, then back again, it fixed the call log problem and the SMS problem all in one go... obviously a software ...

...brought the device halted message up again....when i try to go to my device manager on my computer it reads it until i click on application loader and it tries to read it it turns my phone ...
