Be sure that you don't power on the unit after it was dropped down into water. Dry it first especially the parts inside must be dry and no water or any wet in the mainboard. There's a possibility that you can still used your cp, but more...

You're right in thinking it will cause you worse problems in the future. However if you take all the removable parts off, then give the phone a good 'shake dry' and try pushing down slightly on the screen to push out the water, then use more...

may be a "frameholder" problem!...if this desn't make it work, go to your local mobilephone serviceshop and talk with them...maybe they have some spare parts.......good luck...Ron more...
