HP Officejet Pro L7780 All-In-One InkJet Printer "stripes scanning" Questions

stripes on scanned photo I get stripes on the photo when I scan them at 600ppi. It seems most common when I place the photos to be scanned on the lower right hand side of the flat bed. Any suggestions
