Keurig Platinum B70 Coffee Maker "making smaller cups" Questions

My Kerig will not fill the cup. are you using the "large" cup button? The Kerig coffee maker (i believe) makes either an 8 or 12 ounce cup of coffee, which may be smaller than your mug.

Why does12 cup brewer only make 10 cups of coffee? the cups used by the manufacturer may have been smaller?
