IBM Wheelwriter 30 Typewriter "case" Questions

My lower case e shows vertical lines, the upper case is fine as are all other keys The lower case "e" shows two horizontal lines. Every other key, including the upper case E shows correctly.

R&R power supply Remove the upper case, the power supply just snaps into thelower rear of the lower case.  Put a screwdriver behind the power supply and spring the lower case away.DickyO
