error is most likely caused by a shorted or grounded speaker wire. Check all speaker wires, correct the problem, and then go into the sound setup settings and reset the POWER IC to ON. Hope this helps

error 3 sometimes shows up. Other times the cd will play but there will be a rythmic scratching sound louder than the music itself. Almost like every time the cd goes around it makes a scraping sound.
