If you are using a DVD R/W disk then try using disks from a different manufacturer and alo try using a different medium such as DVD-R or DVD+R DL as the camera will not be able to erase any recordings

the only good way to record you see, mostly because hardly any DVD player is compatible with each other. Did you close that camera disk once you stopped filming? no then that is why it will never play
