Your digitizer might be dead, and if so the cost to repair it could
buy you a whole new PDA.

Have exactly the same problem with a hx2750. Searching for a software solution because changing the touch screen would cost too much and would be quite delicate (i dismanteled the pda and the touch screen and his connectors seem glued to the lcd, so more...
