Hunter Ceiling Fan Light Switch Control "speed 2 speeds" Questions

3 speed ceiling fan, now a 2 speed 3 speed switch broke, replaced it with same volt/ amp switch. Now I have 1 high speed, 2 low speeds, no medium. Any solution? It is probally a warranty.
