iiyama prolite h510 monitor is it vga compatible I have just bought this monitor and it wont work with my gfx card an nvidea 9500gt vga card i changed monitors

hello I just purchased a LG w2453V monitor I run windows 7 64bit & a nvidia geforce 9500gt dual video card with both outputs being dvi when I use the vga cable with a vga/dvi adapter monitor works
