out and one of the resistors (?) is halfway disconnected from the circuit board with one end blown off. The rubber housing of this component is partially melted away. more...
know how it happened. Any suggestions for a fix or were to start looking? I have an electronic background so I can do some component repairs. The rear and center channels are OK.

My D-700 mini stereo component My D-700 mini stereo component sysem has stopped turned on - no power - this after years of the temperamental 3CD player shutting off more...
fine turn the volume up and up , Boom well no boom sound but no more sound it power up and have disconect all component still no sound no i have it all disconect , I did check the fuse to find it not blown no smells of burn more...
up (no power level meter light on)but there is power going through it as the power standby button is on and all the other components are on... turntable, tuner, cassette, cd player, synthesizer. it always worked before...any clue to help me?? I have rechecked all the connections. Thanks. more...
speaker and reverb wires. Then take the 4 screws out of the top of the case. This will allow the box, housing the electrical components to drop down.Slide the box out through the back of the case and look for 3 glass tube fuses.Check each of these to see more...
