Sharp Viewcam VL-NZ100U Mini DV Digital Camcorder "origin phrases" Questions

Trying to record and display says Eject cassette When I try to record on tape it won't record it just says Eject The Cassette. Can somone tell me whats wrong with it and/or how to fix it? And also ...
