on motherboard Changing battery unit probably uses 2032 lithium battery - about the size of a nickel. Remove old one and insert new one. Hopefully the bios defaults will operate your computer properly

insert the new the same way. The battery is a watch type CR 2032, and can be bought for a few bucks. The batterys voltage is about 3 volts, when it looses it`s power, bios can`t remember it`s settings

2032, 3 volts watch type. Insert the new battery the same way. When you remove the battery, the cmos/ bios will be cleared, and the bios needs to be setup: clock, date, boot settings, etc. A pc repair
