post for the battery cable, a plug in for the starter (solenoid) switch, and another male plug in also on the solenoid. Is this a ground? I thought the mounting provided the ground.............. Thank

post. if the solenoid engage with the starter turning then is not your starter, it will be you ground connection not getting good contact with the starter. also check your igniton switch, its wear out
