spongy then i would bleed the system of air. air can be compressed, fluid can not. how to bleed brakes is easy task make sure the brake fluid is topped off and located the bleeder screw on the caliper

bleeding to the brakes, no air lock don't know what to do. your rotor(s) are bent so when you bleed the brakes everything is good but when your riding the bent rotor is pushing the the caliper pistons
