Samsung SyncMaster P2250 22 inch LCD Monitor "master clips" Questions

master p2250 22 inch? last night it smelled lime burnt Plastik and I want to take a look, but there are no screws ot smth. like that.... the samsung screen p2250 does not have screws whitch I can undo

...master 940n Powers on for a moment and displays a crisp clean image ... then nothing but black. I have tried disconnecting the VGA cable to see if the self test works but it only works for a moment ...
