Jensen CD4610 CD Player "volume wont work" Questions

Sony xplod cdx-s2250, occasionally the volume increases to max, then player wont work until it is removed and plugged back in again???? any ideas! It sounds like you may have a bad volume up switch.

volume goes back up again and it wont stop the reset button does nothing. You've either got a short from faulty manufacturing or possibly from moisture entering your unit. Or the wiring may be faulty,
