Jensen VM9510 Car DVD Player "resetting audio pioneer stereo" Questions

some buttons don't work I bought a used car that has a pioneer avic d2 system. I am not able to enter a new address. On the destination screen a lot of the buttons are dark grey (can not be accessed).
