put of the set for 15 minutes &put it on .problem will get clear.

it is due to magnetic effect in television due to problem in degaussing circuit.
solution
1 remove the things which have got magnetic effect like speaker, phone etc.
2 change the direction of tv.
3 do not change the more...
took the hit instead of the main pcb board.Try glueing round quarter sized thick STRONG magnets to the back of the crt near the degaussing coil where the magnetic field of the magnets offest for the discoloration or purity changes.
