Sony KP-51HW40 51 in. Rear Projection Television Tubes - Solutions 7
half hour to an hour, the picture starts turning red and then it goes black with no picture.
I was told there are three tubes in it and one needs to be changed. Can you tell me which one so I can order it and try to fix myself?

Sounds like bad picture tubes. please post a model number, also are you seeing arched lines going through the picture? these can useually be seen best on a blank more...

a used Phillips rear Projection TV and the color is shithouse. After looking on the net is says maybe the Tv needs new Projection tubes? What is the cost of these as the info said all 3 will need changing. For the price I paid it might not be more...
